Kāinga Ora - Homes and Communities in Tauranga or Rotorua leads asset and maintenance projects to keep housing portfolios compliant and well maintained. You will work with stakeholders to ensure homes meet customer needs and regulatory requirements, while managing budgets and schedules.

The role blends asset management, project delivery, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving, requiring strong communication and negotiation skills to deliver value across communities.

Qualifications

• Experience in asset management, maintenance programmes, or property-related projects.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret financial and technical information.
• Knowledge of property legislation (Fencing Act, RMA, RTA, Unit Titles Act).
• Experience preparing options analyses, business cases, reports and recommendations.
• Ability to identify risks, navigate complex issues and implement practical solutions.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management across internal and external partners.

Responsabilités

• Manage a portfolio of asset and maintenance projects across the Bay of Plenty region (Tauranga or Rotorua).
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure assets are well maintained and compliant.
• Analyse financial and technical information to support decision-making and optimise asset performance.
• Identify risks and provide practical solutions to protect and enhance housing portfolio value.
