Job summary

Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities is seeking a skilled asset and project coordinator to manage a portfolio of property and maintenance initiatives across the Bay of Plenty region, including Tauranga or Rotorua. You will ensure housing stock remains well maintained, compliant, and responsive to customers and communities.

Qualifications

• A relevant Property Management, Valuation, or related qualification, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience managing property assets, maintenance programmes, or property-related projects.
• Proven experience delivering small to medium-sized asset management or project-based initiatives.
• The ability to identify risks, interpret financial and technical information, and provide recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of asset and maintenance projects across the Bay of Plenty region.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure homes are well maintained and compliant.
• Support delivery from planning through to delivery and report on options analyses and business cases.
