Job summary

Millennium Services Group is seeking an Account Manager to lead a portfolio of cleaning and security contracts across Auckland, Waikato and Bay of Plenty. You will manage Supervisors and frontline staff, maintain client relationships and ensure service standards.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong safety and quality focus, roster management, audits, onboarding and training, and the ability to adapt to a 24/7 operation.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience in cleaning, security, contract services, or a related service industry.
• Experience leading supervisors and frontline teams across multiple sites.
• Strong client relationship and service delivery experience.
• Sound computer skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Understanding of budgets, labour costs, payroll processes, and operational reporting.
• Hands-on leadership style with a willingness to support site operations when required.
• Full New Zealand Driver Licence.

Responsibilities

• Safety: train, induct, and ensure workers' safety; conduct audits; ensure compliant worksites.
• People: roster management, payroll, recruitment, onboarding, training, and development.
• Clients: maintain relationships, deliver contractual requirements, monitor quality and reporting.
• Operational: oversee site operations, equipment, compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Leadership: provide site leadership and support across portfolio; flexible hours for a 24/7 business.
