McAlpine Hussmann in Dunedin is seeking an experienced RF Service Technician or Electrician to join our refrigeration team. You will service, maintain and install refrigeration systems, bringing strong customer focus and safety discipline to every site.

We value easy-going, forward-thinking professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy teamwork. The role includes on-site work across New Zealand, with training and career development opportunities within a global Panasonic family.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate/licence in refrigeration or electrical work.
• Current clean driver’s licence.
• 5+ years NZ experience in refrigeration/air conditioning preferred.
• Experience dealing with customers on site.
• Supermarket experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Service and install refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
• Carry out maintenance and on-site servicing tasks.
• Work as part of a team to deliver first-class service to customers.

About the role:

We have a vacancy available in our Dunedin branch for highly motivated and experienced RF Service Technician or Electrician. Our Refrigeration team are involved with servicing, maintenance, and installation work of various types of Refrigeration systems.

We want someone who is an easy-going, and forward thinking who enjoys a fast-paced environment, working as part of a team to deliver first class service to our customers. Someone who is motivated to succeed with great communication skills that build lasting relationships.

The key skills required for this role include:

• Health and Safety focused
• Trade Certificate in Refrigeration or Electrical Practising License
• Current (clean) Driver's License
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Experience dealing with customers on site
• 5 years or more NZ experience in the Refrigeration or Air Conditioning industry(preferred but not essential)
• Supermarket experience(preferred but not essential)
