Job summary

KiwiRail Freight is seeking an experienced Recruitment Partner for a fixed-term 15-month role based in Auckland. You will partner with leaders and hiring managers across multiple business units, manage end-to-end recruitment, and provide trusted advice on recruitment best practices.

Build strong relationships, coach managers, and deliver a positive experience for candidates and stakeholders. You will contribute to broader recruitment strategy, bringing fresh ideas to improve processes, sourcing

Qualifications

• Strong stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills.
• Experience managing the full end to end recruitment lifecycle.
• Knowledge of employment legislation, immigration requirements and recruitment compliance.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Confidence using recruitment technology and systems to support efficient and compliant recruitment processes.
• Experience developing talent pools and sourcing strategies, particularly for critical or high volume roles.
• A continuous improvement mindset and a willingness to bring forward new ideas.
• A collaborative approach and genuine commitment to delivering a great candidate and hiring manager experience.

In this role, you’ll partner with leaders and hiring managers across a range of business units, managing end to end recruitment and providing trusted advice on recruitment best practice. You willbuild strong relationships with hiring managers, coach and support them through the recruitment process, and help deliver a positive experience for both candidates and stakeholders.

You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to our broader recruitment strategy, bringing fresh ideas and identifying opportunities to improve our processes, sourcing approaches and ways of working.

We’re looking for an experienced recruiter who enjoys building relationships, managing competing priorities and working in a fast-paced environment. You’ll bring:
