Job summary

Ara Poutama Aotearoa (Department of Corrections) is seeking a Recruitment Advisor in Wellington to deliver end-to-end recruitment across a diverse portfolio of frontline and specialist roles. You will partner with Hiring Managers, lead assessment centres, and drive workforce planning in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.

You will manage recruitment activity, provide expert advice, maintain reporting, and ensure a positive candidate and stakeholder experience.

Qualifications

As a Recruitment Advisor, you will deliver end-to-end recruitment across a diverse portfolio of frontline and specialist roles, partnering closely with Hiring Managers to attract, assess and secure quality talent. This really is a busy, fast-paced role where you'll manage a large volume of recruitment activity across multiple vacancies and stakeholder groups. You'll balance competing priorities while ensuring a positive candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the recruitment process. You'll lead assessment centres, facilitate recruitment activities, provide trusted recruitment advice to hiring leaders, and contribute to workforce planning initiatives. You will also be responsible for maintaining recruitment reporting, tracking recruitment metrics, and providing insights on recruitment activity.
