Job summary

Ara Poutama Aotearoa - Department of Corrections in Waikato is seeking a Recruitment Advisor for a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will join the National Recruitment team to provide end-to-end recruitment support and partner with stakeholders for frontline and custodial roles.

The role requires high-volume recruitment experience, strong relationship-building, and a commitment to Maori language and culture. Travel across recruitment sites will be required and a NZ Driver Licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering end-to-end recruitment in a high-volume environment

• Experience facilitating assessment centres
• Experience working with recruitment systems and compliance-focused processes
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and sound judgement
• Confidence engaging with diverse candidates, communities and stakeholders
• Understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, tikanga Māori and te reo Māori
• Full New Zealand Driver Licence and ability to travel across recruitment sites as required
