Job summary

Department of Corrections NZ is recruiting a Recruitment Advisor for a 12-month fixed-term role within the National Recruitment team. You will support recruitment across Bay of Plenty and Waikato, handling high-volume campaigns with a customer-focused approach.

You will partner with stakeholders, facilitate assessment centres, and navigate recruitment systems while keeping processes compliant and aligned with Te Tiriti o Waitangi. A NZ Driver Licence and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

  • Stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience facilitating assessment centres.
  • Experience working with recruitment systems and compliance-focused processes.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and sound judgement.
  • Comfort engaging with diverse candidates, communities and stakeholders.
  • Understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and te reo Māori preferred.
  • Full New Zealand Driver Licence and ability to travel between recruitment sites.
