Job summary

Airways New Zealand, Christchurch campus, is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Air Traffic Services Development (ATSD) team on a permanent full-time basis. You will architect, design, develop, test, document, deploy, maintain and support real-time critical systems in the ADAMS suite, including web-based systems and a mobile app.

You will collaborate with system engineers and network engineers, work in a dynamic environment, and contribute to high-quality designs, code and documentation,

Qualifications

• Honours or master's degree in computer science or software engineering, or numerical degree with equivalent experience.
• At least two years in a software development team with a structured environment.
• Expertise in Java and related languages.
• Proven ability to produce high-quality designs, code and documentation.
• Ability to work in a dynamic business and deliver successful outcomes.
