Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora in Auckland is seeking an experienced Scheduler & Administrator to join the Radiology team. You will manage outpatient bookings and waitlists, coordinate appointments and support timely access to services for patients and whānau.

This full-time role is based at Manukau Health Park, 40 hours weekly, Monday to Friday, 7am–6pm. You will excel at attention to detail, compassionate communication and working calmly in a busy healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of administrative experience in health care.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication and telephone skills.
• Able to manage multiple priorities while staying accurate and professional.

Responsibilities

• Manage Radiology outpatient bookings and waitlists.
• Coordinate appointments in line with clinical priorities.
• Liaise with patients, referrers and clinical teams to support timely access.
• Respond to enquiries with kindness and professionalism.
• Maintain accurate patient information and booking records.
• Contribute to a positive, patient-focused team environment.
