Job summary

Canterbury District Health Board in Christchurch Hospital is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to support Radiology teams with patient care, stock management, and equipment setup.

Role starts at 0.5 FTE (20 hours/week) with potential to grow to 0.8 FTE (32 hours/week). Shifts are Monday–Friday, 07:00–15:30 or 08:30–17:00, with possible weekend shifts in the future. The role involves patient transfers and working across Radiology to maintain efficient workflows.

Responsibilities

• Stock management and linen ordering.
• Set up equipment for theatre procedures; dismantle procedure trolley.

• Assist across Radiology with patient transfers and walking.
• Work across all shifts, Monday–Friday; with potential weekend shifts.
