Job summary

Stevenson Aggregates, a Fulton Hogan subsidiary, is seeking a Quarry Operator for the day shift at Drury, Auckland. You will operate and maintain a range of quarry plant, contributing to high productivity while upholding Health and Safety standards.

Ideal candidates have proven heavy machinery experience, a Full Class 2 licence (WTR preferred) and a commitment to learning. Water-cart duties may be required for qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Full Class 2 licence is required.
• WTR licence is compulsory.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Good attitude toward machinery care and maintenance.
• Excellent communication skills.

About the role

We are looking for self-motivated Quarry Operators to work on our day shift team at Drury . You will be someone with a proven track record of delivering a high standard of work in all tasks undertaken. This is an exciting opportunity to join a hardworking and close-knit team, who share your passion for operating heavy plant.

This person will need to be dedicated to high levels of productivity as well as a strong commitment to Health and Safety. Ideally, we need someone who is driven to further their career within this industry,

About you

As a Quarry Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining a range of quarry plant. You will have ongoing opportunity to develop your skillset in quarry plant operations. If you are someone who has proven experience with heavy machineries, then we would like to hear from you!

The successful candidate will also have:

• A Full Class 2 licence is a must
• WTR is compulsory
• Passion for the quarrying industry and willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Good attitude toward the care and maintenance of machinery
• Excellent communication skills

We're also on the lookout for skilled operators with a Class 4 licence to drive our watercarts
