Job summary

Kinetic Recruitment is looking for a reliable Quarry Operator to join a busy quarry based in Onehunga. This is a varied, hands-on role offering long-term work where you'll operate loaders, diggers to move earth, water carts and road sweepers, while assisting with day-to-day site operations.

You will also provide weighbridge cover when required, communicate with customers and contractors, and strictly follow Health & Safety procedures. A current WTR licence and NZ working rights are essential.

Qualifications

• Current WTR licence.
• Experience operating loaders, diggers or similar heavy plant.
• Good communication skills with customers, contractors and staff.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Valid working rights in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Operate loaders, diggers, water carts and road sweepers.
• Cover the weighbridge when required.
• Assist with general quarry and site duties.
• Communicate with customers, contractors and site staff.
• Follow Health & Safety procedures at all times.
