Scientific & Technical Recruitment is seeking a meticulous Quality Assurance Specialist for a leading healthcare and pharmaceutical business in New Zealand. You will review batch records, manage quality documentation, and coordinate release activities to ensure regulatory compliance and timely product releases.

The role requires SAP experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a regulated environment across manufacturing, healthcare, or FMCG sectors.

Qualifications

• Experience using SAP in a professional capacity.
• Previous experience in quality assurance, preferably in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment.
• Strong understanding of company procedures, SOPs, and work instructions related to release activities.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies or non-conformances.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with Principals, staff, and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Review documentation and release shipments.
• Identify and action quality processes.
• Prioritize compliance and quality procedures.
• Review Inwards Goods documentation, ensure compliance with requirements.
• Ensure all internal and external requirements are met to enable the release for supply of incoming shipments.
• Perform incoming shipment release for supply processes in a timely manner.
• Review and approve Rework batch packaging records (BPRs) for completion and compliance with requirements.
• Action quality holds and disposal in accordance with requirements.

In this role, you will play an important part in maintaining quality, compliance, and product release standards, with key responsibilities including reviewing and approving batch records and quality documentation, managing stock quality holds and releases, coordinating Certificates of Analysis, and ensuring all release activities are completed accurately and in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
