Job summary

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join Bupa ANZ as a Quality Partner, supporting clinical staff to deliver continuous quality improvement across nine care homes in Christchurch, Rangiora, Riverton, Gore and Invercargill. This permanent, full-time role involves clinical leadership and quality system implementation.

You will travel regularly to our southern care homes, provide education and coaching, and help ensure audits, certifications, and CQI cycles are embedded in daily practice.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NZ registration.
• Experience in quality improvement or care-home settings.
• Willingness to travel across the South Island.

Responsibilities

• Developing and embedding quality systems in care homes.
• Assist with corrective actions after care home health checks and spot audits, provide coaching support through the process.
• Provide orientation to new Care Home Managers and Clinical Managers regarding quality systems and the Continuous Quality Improvement cycle.
• Role model, nurture, and enable care home staff with delivery of education and training techniques.
• Assist care homes with preparation for surveillance and certification audits and support post surveillance/ certification audits.
• Travel includes: about 1 week per month to Riverton, Gore, and Invercargill; visit one care home per fortnight across our Christchurch-based homes.

About the Role

This is a great opportunity for a Registered Nurse where you can use your expertise to help nurture and support clinical staff as a Quality Partner in this permanent, full-time role. Working across our South Island region, you will be enabling our Care Home Managers and Clinical Managers to effectively deliver continuous quality improvement and excellent care in their homes.

This role will involve travel to our 9 care homes across Christchurch, Rangiora, Riverton, Gore, and Invercargill, where you will be involved in:
