Job summary

Aliaxis is seeking a hands-on Quality Control professional for the RX Plastics site in Ashburton, NZ. This permanent night shift role focuses on QC testing, product sampling, inspections, and maintaining manufacturing quality records.

You will work on the production floor with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with international and national standards, and to resolve quality issues promptly. A Diploma in QA and strong detail orientation are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in Quality Control or manufacturing
• Certificate or Diploma in Quality Assurance or related field
• Strong numerical skills with accurate record keeping
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality systems
• Health, Safety and Environmental awareness

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain QC records using company systems
• Perform QC testing, inspections and evaluations to meet standards
• Record and share test results with relevant teams
• Carry out routine QC checks across each shift
• Take product samples and inspect during production
• Raise quality issues and work with Production to resolve them
• Support quality systems and audits
• Investigate customer complaints and assess warehouse stock
• Collaborate with production and operations to maintain quality
• Follow Health, Safety and Environmental policies
• Identify HSE risks and maintain a safe work environment
