Job summary

Perfection Fresh Australia is seeking a Quality Assurance professional for a 6-month fixed term role at our Homebush distribution centre. You will conduct quality assessments, perform compliance checks and support GMP/HACCP food safety standards.

You’ll deliver GMP training, maintain QA records and help improve operational processes while working closely with RDC staff and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to safely perform the inherent physical requirements of the role, including repetitive manual handling of loads up to 15–20 kg.
• Strong time management and organisational skills with a methodical approach to work.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Practical knowledge and experience in an operational environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly and make decisions.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct quality assessments of incoming and outgoing products against customer specifications and required quality standards.
• Perform compliance checks in accordance with customer specifications, internal procedures and relevant standards.
• Conduct daily product retention, end-of-shelf-life (EOSL) and shelf-life assessments.
• Complete regular site GMP checks to support compliance with GMP, HACCP and food safety requirements.
• Deliver GMP training and guidance to Regional Distribution Centre (RDC) and other relevant staff.
• Complete administrative tasks and maintain accurate and up-to-date Quality Assurance documentation.
• Conduct and accurately record daily cool room temperature checks.
• Identify, report and elevate any issues relating to quality, technical principles, protocols or processes.
• Attend and actively participate in team meetings and other relevant activities as required.
• Proactively identify opportunities and recommend solutions to improve team performance and operational processes.
• Manage assigned tasks and priorities in a professional, organised and timely manner.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing stock to ensure all required quality standards and customer specifications are met.
