Job summary

Pacific Helmets Certification and Quality Man in New Zealand seeks a Quality Manager to own the integrated management system for quality, health & safety, and environmental management. You will lead ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 audits, drive CAPA and continuous improvement across cross-functional teams, and mentor the H&S/Environmental Officer and Quality Systems Lead.

Qualifications

• Quality management systems ownership (QMS) and external audits (QMS / H&S / EMS) including ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
• Develop and implement end-to-end quality systems and drive lean/six sigma goals.
• Lead governance of internal audits, CAPA, and compliance reporting.
• Provide leadership to H&S/Environmental Officer and Quality Systems Lead.
• Coordinate product audit activities with Product Certification Lead & Lab Manager.

Responsibilities

• Own the Integrated Management System covering quality, health & safety, and environmental management.
• Be accountable for ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 audit readiness and external audits.
• Lead governance of internal audits, corrective and preventative actions, and cross-functional process improvement.
• Provide leadership to the H&S/Environmental Officer and Quality Systems Lead.
• Coordinate product audit activities with support from the Product Certification Lead & Lab Manager.
• Maintain and implement system performance reviews and CAPA effectiveness.
• Ensure staff awareness and site inspections and environmental action tracking.
• Lead quality KPI reporting and management review preparation.
• Participate in leadership team and support company strategy.
