Job summary

Fulton Hogan Ltd in Auckland is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join our Paving team in Mount Wellington. You’ll support the on-site quality assurance activities, assist with measurements, quantities and site documentation, and ensure projects are delivered to client specifications and safety standards.

This hands-on role requires practical outdoor work, strong communication, and the ability to use basic computer programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Qualifications

• Experience in quality assurance on construction or paving sites is valued.
• Comfort with paperwork, SOPs and ITPs and daily reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support paving team with QA activities, measurements and site documentation.
• Record daily site activities including plant, labour and materials.
• Complete and submit job summaries.
• Participate in pre-starts and risk planning; address hazards as they arise.
• Carry out general labourer duties when required.
• Collaborate with foreperson to troubleshoot issues and reduce waste.
• Work with production to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions.

As a Quality Assurance Technician, you’ll be right in the mix, supporting the team to get the job done safely, on time and to a high standard. You’ll work alongside the paving crew and leaders, helping with accurate measurements, quantities, paperwork, quality checks and day-to-day support that keeps jobs running smoothly and minimises rework and waste.
