Job summary

Fisher Funds in Auckland is seeking a Quality Analyst to ensure our technology supporting clients and teams is reliable and ready for delivery. You’ll work with Product Leads, developers and stakeholders, shaping test approaches from requirements through to execution and UAT.

You’ll contribute to testing across Agile and other releases, document results clearly, and help drive quality as a shared responsibility across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Understanding of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall or DevOps environments.
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements and user stories, identifying gaps, risks and opportunities early.
• Develop practical test plans, test cases and estimates that support quality outcomes.
• Execute testing across Agile, Waterfall and business-as-usual releases.
• Investigate, document and manage defects through the testing lifecycle.
• Support User Acceptance Testing and help stakeholders understand testing outcomes.
• Create and maintain accurate test documentation and test data.
• Provide clear insights into product quality, risks and issues to support informed decisions.
• Look for smarter ways of working and contribute to continuous improvement across testing and quality practices.
