BestStart is seeking a passionate, qualified Early Childhood Teacher to join our welcoming Over 2s team in Hastings. This permanent part-time role offers 30–40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with full pay parity and a supportive induction programme.
You will bring a Level 7 Bachelor of Education or Diploma of Teaching, NZ teacher registration, and a commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, bicultural practice, and Te Whāriki knowledge. Join a nurturing team that values relationships.
Competenze
- Bachelor of Education or Diploma of Teaching (ECE or Primary) required.
- Current NZ teacher registration required.
- Demonstrated ability to support child-led learning and development.
- Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and bicultural practice.
- Strong knowledge of Te Whāriki and ECE regulations.
