Job summary

Heights Recruitment in Dunedin is seeking qualified carpenters for a contract role on a premium fit-out project. You will read plans, frame and finish to a high standard, and work either independently or with a close-knit team. The contract runs through year-end with a strong pipeline beyond that, and flexibility to fit your workflow.

NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa is required. You’ll join a well-established outfit with experienced site managers and a dedicated construction team, with

We've got a tidy 3 story apartment fit out with a premium penthouse on top, right in the heart of Dunedin. If you're a chippy who enjoys framing, finishing, and quality fit out work, I'd be keen to have a yarn. This contract is expected to run through the rest of the year, with a strong pipeline beyond that and flexibility to fit your workflow.

We'll handle the finer details like tax, invoicing, and insurance, or if you're already set up, we can simply supply the work. Whether you're from a residential or commercial background and you're a qualified carpenter who can read plans, work independently, and takes pride in producing quality work, get in touch.

Role: Qualified carpenters with a proven track record of getting stuck in when it counts. You'll be joining a well established outfit with experienced site managers and a construction team that's already firing. As the project ramps up, they're looking to bring on one or two extra pairs of hands to help get this quality project over the line. You'll be given your daily tasks, set up for the day, and trusted to crack on. If you prefer a bit of guidance or need to bounce things off the senior guys, that's there too. Whether you're someone who likes to work independently or as part of a close knit team, there's a place for you here.
