Job summary

Aderant in Auckland invites two QA Engineer Interns for a fixed-term placement from 16 November 2026 to 12 February 2027. You will gain hands-on experience in building and running automated tests to validate software reliability, under mentorship from experienced engineers.

Ideal candidates are final-year students or recent graduates in Computer Science or Software Engineering, with a interest in software testing, automation, and learning new tools such as Playwright and Leapwork.

Qualifications

Completed study within the last 12 months or currently studying Computer Science or Software Engineering.
NZQA qualification level 6-10.
Not previously employed by Aderant in a full-time position.
Not undertaken more than 2 prior internships at Aderant.

Responsibilities

Learn how to write and run automated tests for web and desktop applications.
Work with engineers and testers to understand how software is built and validated.
Help identify areas where automation can improve testing efficiency.
Use tools like Playwright and Leapwork to build test scripts.
Participate in team meetings and Agile development processes.
Document your work and share your learnings with the team.
