Job summary

Green by Nature in Auckland is recruiting 7 staff for the summer period, with 4 in cleaning and 3 in bin collection. Roles based at Henderson depot, hours 1.30pm–10pm, rostered Thursday to Monday with Tue/Wed off, from October to February.

Reporting to Team Manager, you will empty rubbish bins or operate a compactor vehicle and clean public facilities across Henderson, Rodney and wider West Auckland, requiring a strong work ethic, fitness, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• A full, clean driver's licence with the ability to drive a manual vehicle.
• Willingness to work outdoors in a physically demanding role.
• Strong commitment to health and safety and company policies.
• Basic computer and smartphone skills would be beneficial.
• Self-motivated and able to work without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Empty rubbish bins and operate a compactor vehicle.
• Clean public facilities across Henderson, Rodney and wider West Auckland region's summer spots.
• Support busy summer period from October to February.
