Job summary

Green by Nature is seeking seven staff for our Auckland operations during the busy summer period. We have 4 cleaners and 3 bin collection roles based at the Henderson depot to service summer locations.

Roles run 1:30pm–10:00pm, rostered Thursday to Monday (Tuesday and Wednesday off). You will work outdoors in a physically demanding environment, with a strong focus on health and safety and the chance to contribute to community spaces.

Qualifications

• A full, clean driver’s licence with the ability to drive a manual vehicle.
• Willingness to work outdoors in a physically demanding role and maintain good fitness.
• Strong commitment to health and safety and adherence to policies and procedures.
• Basic computer and smartphone skills would be beneficial.
• Self-motivated and able to work without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Empty rubbish bins and operate a compactor vehicle.
• Clean public facilities across Henderson, Rodney and wider West Auckland.
• Work as part of a rostered team during the summer period.
