Green by Nature AU is hiring cleaners to maintain public spaces across the Rodney district, including Wellsford and nearby areas. Positions involve variety in shifts, with duties spanning rubbish collection, bin emptying, and occasional vehicle operation, particularly during the busy summer period from November to February.

Ideal applicants have a valid full driver’s licence (manual preferred), enjoy outdoor work, and are committed to safety and teamwork.

Green by Nature is proud to be a trusted partner of Rodney (Auckland) Council, entrusted with maintaining the beauty of the region's parks, playgrounds, and public spaces. Inspired by the region's natural beauty and the Council's forward-thinking vision for the future.

We are now looking for 3-4 staff members. Hours & days of work will vary depending on the area you are allocated, please see examples below.

• Mon-Sat either before 7am or after 5pm (4-hour shifts)
• Sunday to Wednesday (for staff cover)
• Mon - Sat 6pm - Midnight

The roles will be based out of our Wellsford depot to support the busy summer period from November to February.

What does a Cleaner do you ask?

Reporting directly to our Team Manager, your main duties will involve either emptying of rubbish bins and operating a compactor vehicle or cleaning public facilities across the Rodney district region's such as Wellsford and Warkworth.

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for someone with a strong work ethic and a willingness to jump in and get the job done. While experience in a similar role is a plus, it's not a must. The ideal candidate will have:

• A full, clean driver’s licence with the ability to drive a manual vehicle (essential)
• A love for working outdoors in a physically demanding role, a good level of fitness is required!
• A strong commitment to health and safety, following our company policies and procedures
• Basic computer and smartphone skills would be beneficial
• Self-motivated and able to work without direct supervision
