Job summary

Green by Nature in Wellsford is hiring 3-4 cleaners to support the busy summer period from November to February. Roles are based at the Wellsford depot with varying shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekend coverage.

Duties include emptying rubbish, operating a compactor, cleaning public facilities across Rodney district. You need a full, clean driver's license with ability to drive a manual, and you must enjoy outdoor physical work and adhere to health and safety policies.

Qualifications

• A full, clean driver’s licence with the ability to drive a manual vehicle.
• Comfort with outdoor, physically demanding work.
• Ability to follow health and safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Empty rubbish bins and operate a compactor vehicle.
• Clean public facilities across Wellsford and surrounding areas.
• Assist with other depot tasks as required.

We are now looking for 3-4 staff members. Hours & days of work will vary depending on the area you are allocated, please see examples below.

• Mon-Sat either before 7am or after 5pm (4-hour shifts)
• Sunday to Wednesday (for staff cover)
• Mon - Sat 6pm - Midnight

The roles will be based out of our Wellsford depot to support the busy summer period from November to February.

What does a Cleaner do you ask?

Reporting directly to our Team Manager, your main duties will involve either emptying of rubbish bins and operating a compactor vehicle or cleaning public facilities across the Rodney district region's such as Wellsford and Warkworth.

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for someone with a strong work ethic and a willingness to jump in and get the job done. While experience in a similar role is a plus, it's not a must. The ideal candidate will have:

• A full, clean driver’s licence with the ability to drive a manual vehicle (essential)
• A love for working outdoors in a physically demanding role, a good level of fitness is required!
• A strong commitment to health and safety, following our company policies and procedures
• Basic computer and smartphone skills would be beneficial
• Self-motivated and able to work without direct supervision
