Placements24 is seeking a strategic and experienced Management Consultant focused on the Public Sector, based in Queenstown with hybrid work options and remote flexibility. The role supports governmental and non-profit organizations to enhance service delivery, efficiency, and policy implementation.

Key responsibilities include advising on strategic planning, organizational design, and program management, while engaging diverse stakeholders and delivering high-quality project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Public Administration, Public Policy, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in management Consulting, public sector advisory, or a senior role within government or non-profit organizations.
• Deep understanding of public sector challenges, operational frameworks, and policy environments.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and excellent communication skills.
• Experience with change management and process re-engineering in the public sector is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Advise public sector clients on strategic planning, organizational design, and operational improvement initiatives.
• Conduct comprehensive analyses of public service delivery, identifying areas for enhancement and efficiency gains.
• Develop and implement strategies to support policy development, program management, and effective governance.
• Facilitate stakeholder consultations and workshops with government officials and community representatives.
• Manage consulting projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
• Contribute to building the firm's expertise and offerings within the public sector domain.
