Job summary

Auckland War Memorial Museum is seeking an Associate Project Manager for Public Programmes to coordinate and deliver a busy calendar of public events and community engagement. This role supports budgeting, planning and collaboration across onsite and offsite activities, ensuring projects meet timelines and standards.

The ideal candidate will bring end-to-end project coordination experience, strong Excel skills, and a qualification in project or event management with an interest in culture, art

Qualifications

• End-to-end experience coordinating and delivering projects.
• Budget management experience with reporting and financial oversight.
• Qualifcation in project or event management is desirable.
• Understanding of working within diverse cultural contexts, including Te Reo Māori.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver public programmes, ticketed events and community engagement.
• Provide project coordination and administrative support across a busy team.
• Manage calendars, timelines and budgets to ensure on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including staff and external partners.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and holidays.
