Job summary

Rocket Lab is seeking a Development Engineer for Electron Propulsion in New Zealand. You will design, test and refine propulsion components, owning from first sketch to flight-ready hardware, coordinating with NX, analysis and manufacturing teams.

You will plan and run tests from component rigs to hot-fire, defining operation and maintenance for flight hardware. You will collaborate on design for manufacturing, EBOM management, and cross-functional reviews while delivering reliable, high-quality

Qualifications

  • An engineering degree and 2+ years' industry experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • A project you owned end to end—concept through design, build and test, into operation.
  • Skills that transfer; you don't need to have built a rocket.
