Job summary

Summerset Manukau village is seeking a proactive Property Assistant to join our team. This full-time role focuses on keeping the village safe, beautiful, and running smoothly. You will work with the Property Manager and Head Gardener supporting maintenance and gardening tasks.

Based in Manukau, the role shifts from April 2027 to include Half Moon Bay three days per week with two days in Manukau, offering variety and opportunities to develop practical skills within our senior living communities.

Qualifications

• Experience in property maintenance and gardening.
• Strong DIY or trade skills.
• Current driver’s license and ability to work independently.

You'll be successful in this role if you have:

• Experience in property maintenance and gardening
• Strong DIY or trade skills - part trade qualified preferred
• A current driver's licence
• The ability to work independently and take pride in your work
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Basic computer literacy skills
