Job summary

Summerset Cambridge village in New Zealand is seeking a Property Manager to lead the property team and oversee the day-to-day management of village assets.

You will manage the maintenance, coordinate refurbishments, and work closely with residents to deliver high standards and responsive service, while ensuring regulatory compliance and effective asset planning. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

  • Minimum trade qualification and extensive experience in a related area.
  • Strong understanding of complex building systems and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Proven success leading teams to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Strong communication to build relationships with residents and village teams.

Job Description

As the Property Manager at our Cambridge village,you will work full time on a 40-hour week from Monday -Friday. You will be responsible for a small team who look after the ongoing compliance and manintenance of all property, grounds and other Village assets.

Typical duties include:

  • Day to day site management including repairs and maintenance
  • Coordination of refurbishments, contractors and ongoing projects
  • Property and asset planning
  • Working with our residents to listen to their concerns and feedback and ensuring we are creating great environments with the highest of standards
Qualifications

You will naturally take pride in maintaining and developing beautiful gardens and facilities and love to share your ideas and passion with your team.

You’ll bring with you:

  • A relevant trade qualification and significant experience in a related area
  • A good understanding of complex building systems and regulatory compliance
  • Good computer literacy, proficient in Microsoft office
  • Proven success of leading teams to deliver great customer service
  • Great communication skills to aid you in building strong relationships across the residents and village teams.
