Job summary

Rooney Earthmoving Ltd in Timaru is seeking a Project Manager with hands-on earthmoving or roading experience to lead our on-site civil team. You will plan tasks, manage a fleet of equipment, and work with the civil team to achieve contract targets while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Applicants should be proven leaders, capable of coordinating resources, following design and survey setouts, and maintaining professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Hands-on earthmoving or roading background with leadership skills.
• Capable of running a team of workers and a fleet of equipment.
• Experience with production outputs of civil earthmoving machines and equipment.
• Proven ability to follow plan design, survey setout and QA testing.
• Strong health and safety practices and team safety leadership.
• Professional in dealings with clients and stakeholders.

• Lead the team to meet contract targets and schedules.
• Coordinate the use of equipment and resources on site.

A Project Manager with Rooney Earthmoving Ltd has a hands-on earthmoving or roading background with leadership skills that complement their team.
