Job summary

HV Power Measurements and Protection Limited is recruiting an experienced Project Manager to deliver HV projects in New Zealand. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage scope, budget and schedule, and communicate with customers to secure sign-offs.

You should have a proven track record in running multiple projects, strong planning skills and superb communication. Preference for HV equipment project management and PMP/electrical certifications.

Qualifications

• Experienced at running multiple projects with strong planning and communication.
• Ability to manage scope, cost and schedule for HV projects.
• Excellent stakeholder liaison and reporting to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Setting up projects and defining disciplines of project management.
• Producing QA documentation including process diagrams, ITPs, and Gantt charts.
• Tracking costs and liaising with stakeholders.

Job description

Responsible to ensure all assigned Projects/Jobs are delivered on time, within scope to a high quality and within budget utilising internal and external resources with a focus on HV Switchgear.

Key responsibilities

• Setting up projects & the required disciplines of project management
• Producing documentation for QA purposes including process/flow diagrams, ITP's, Gant charts
• Tracking costs, liaising with stake holders
• Ensuring appropriate tools are available
• Ensuring appropriate resources and roles are established with personnel in place
• Discussing & agreeing the design with the customer and seeking their sign off
• Procuring all required items from inventory
• Issuing POs on external suppliers for goods and services
• Issuing Manufacturing package to the shop floor (or an external)
• Specifying the required test procedures

About you

Experienced at running multiple projects, be good at planning and a superb communicator

Preference on project management experience with HV Equipment

Ideally with Electrical and/or PMP certification

A practical hands-on approach with a knowledge of latest production technologies
