Job summary

Fulton Hogan in Nelson is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead civil construction projects, delivering on time, on budget and to the highest safety and quality standards.

You will manage project teams, coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, maintain strong client relationships and drive continuous improvement in infrastructure delivery.

This full-time role offers the opportunity to contribute to major regional projects with a collaborative team and clear career progression.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering Diploma and/or relevant industry experience.
• Roading and Construction experience (5-10 years).
• Significant project experience in civil infrastructure and roading.
• Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage great relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• A passion to succeed in business with a strong commercial acumen.
• Excellent leadership and mentorship qualities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the projects team in the successful execution and delivery of construction projects (up to $10m).
• Manage and direct contract administration, understand contractual requirements and expectations.
• Set performance expectations with Foremen/ Supervisors and construction crews. Monitor performance and address any issues with the assistance of the Divisional Manager.
• Ensure forward planning, organising and ordering of contract subbies, material, plant and people at all times to eliminate down time on the job.
• You'll also contribute in any other duties or projects that are reasonably requested.
