Thorn Baker Group is seeking a Project Manager for high-end residential projects in the Wiltshire to Bristol area. You will oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring safety, programme, budget and quality targets are met.

The role requires a hands-on, site-focused leader with excellent organisation, communication and stakeholder management skills, able to travel along the M4 corridor and maintain premium workmanship.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in construction.
• Strong background in high-end residential construction.
• Experience managing projects from inception to completion.
• Excellent organisational, leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong eye for detail and commitment to quality.
• Good commercial awareness and programme management skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel along the M4 corridor.

The Role

As Project Manager, you will take responsibility for overseeing high-end residential projects from inception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the delivery of high-end residential construction projects from start to finish.

• Develop and monitor project programmes, budgets and progress reports.

• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and consultants.

• Maintain exceptional standards of workmanship, quality and attention to detail.

• Ensure health and safety procedures are followed across all site activities.

• Monitor costs, manage variations and help maintain commercial control.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.

• Identify and resolve project issues to minimise delays and disruption.

• Oversee inspections, snagging and handover to ensure a high-quality finished product.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry.

• A strong background in high-end residential construction.

• Experience managing projects from inception through to completion.

• Excellent organisational, leadership and communication skills.

• The ability to manage subcontractors and multiple project stakeholders effectively.

• A strong eye for detail and a commitment to delivering quality.

• Good commercial awareness and programme management skills.

• A full UK driving licence and the ability to travel to sites along the M4 corridor between Wiltshire and Bristol.
