Job summary

BuildRight Construction AU is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex building and venue projects in New Zealand. You will take ownership from planning through delivery, coordinating contractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

This role requires strong technical knowledge of building systems, a track record managing budgets and schedules, and delivery excellence across live environments. Sponsorship is available for overseas candidates under AEWV.

Qualifications

• Proven senior-level project management experience.
• Experience delivering complex construction, refurbishment, or fit-out projects.
• Strong understanding of buildings systems and services.
• Experience with large or complex building portfolios.
• Knowledge of NZ Building Code, consents, and regulatory requirements.
• Understanding of NZS3910 contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex building, construction, refurbishment, and renewal projects.
• Manage projects from planning to completion.
• Coordinate contractors, consultants, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Develop and monitor schedules, budgets, scopes, and delivery plans.
• Monitor risks, costs, quality, compliance and performance.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, standards, and building codes.
• Prepare progress reports for senior stakeholders.
• Mentor team members and share technical knowledge.
