Job summary

KiwiRail in Auckland is seeking a Project Finance Analyst to support the CPAD Rolling Stock Procurement Programme, a NZ$1.6 billion capital project, through accurate financial reporting, budgeting and funding reconciliations.

Fixed-term to 31 December 2027, you will collaborate with the Programme Commercial Manager and the finance team to manage monthly closes and stakeholder reporting, using Excel, SAP and Power BI to deliver reliable financial insights.

Qualifications

• One to three years’ experience in financial accounting, management accounting, project accounting or a related finance role.
• Experience supporting month-end reporting, reconciliations, budgeting or forecasting.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills, with attention to accuracy and detail.
