HEB Construction in Napier / Hawke's Bay is seeking a Project Engineer to support the civil team on regional projects. You will own project delivery, aligning safety, quality and client satisfaction while hitting deadlines and budgets.

The role focuses on experienced leadership, coordination across PMs, and ensuring high standards on diverse civil works in the Hawke's Bay region.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in Tier 1/2 civil projects and heavy civil construction.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality civils projects within time and budget parameters.
• Provide specialised technical advice as appropriate.
• Manage and motivate effective project teams and sub-contractors.
• Champion health and safety.
• Work alongside managers and stakeholders.

We have a fantastic opportunity for aProject Engineer to join our Hawkes Bay civil team working on a variety of projects across the region.

You will be an experienced and motivated PE supporting the PM across a number of new and exciting civil construction projects.

Youwill take ownership, ensuring safety with a focus on service and quality. We want you to come in and hit the ground running!

You will be responsible for:

• Delivering quality civils projects within time and budget parameters, and to the client's satisfaction
• Providing specialised technical advice as appropriate
• Manage and motivate effective project teams and sub-contractors

• Work alongside managers and stakeholders

Skills and experience that will ensure your success:

Civil Engineering degree, equivalent qualification, or through years of experience in Tier 1/2

Provenexperience in 3W water, pump stations and treatment plants, utilities, roading, deep trenching, earthworks, and other heavy civil construction projects

• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly with others
• Financial acumen so you can deliver projects within budget
• Experience managing a diverse team and range projects
