Job summary

Meadow Fresh dairy manufacturing site in Longburn, Palmerston North is seeking a Project Engineer to support 3 Waters developments, including Bore & Treatment Plant and Storm Water Management. You will assist in feasibility studies, capital approvals, and the scoping of 3 Waters capital solutions.

You should hold an engineering qualification (Civil, Environmental, Mechanical or Process) and have experience with brownfield delivery, project management, and AutoCAD for 2D layouts and P&IDs.

• Experience delivering capital, industrial, or automation projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement roadmaps for 3 Waters developments at the Longburn site – Bore & Treatment Plant and Storm Water Management.
• Prepare initial feasibility studies for FEED and capital approvals.
• Support execution of bore drilling and related testing of raw water.
• Assist scoping and execution of raw water treatment plant construction.
• Programme level scoping of trade-taste treatment plant.

We're driven by our values - **We Grow Together, We Keep Things Simple, We Get Stuff Done****About the Role**We currently have an opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our Group Engineering team at our Meadow Fresh dairy manufacturing site in Longburn, Palmerston North in supporting 3 waters projects at the site.You will assist in the development and execution of the national dairy capital plan, and design & implement roadmaps for 3 waters developments - imminently, Bore & Treatment Plant, and Storm Water Management ensuring all capital solutions are delivered with compliance and effective stakeholder management.In order to achieve this, your key responsibilities will include:* Design and implement roadmaps for 3 waters developments at the Longburn site – imminently; Bore & Treatment Plant and Storm Water Management* Preparation of initial feasibility studies for FEED and capital approvals* Support execution of bore drilling and work associated with take and testing of raw water* Support scoping and execution of raw water treatment plant construction* Programme level scoping of trade-taste treatment plant**Note: This role is a 18 month fixed term contract.****About You**In order to make this role a success, we are looking for a qualified Project Engineer ideally with a few years' experience in delivering Capital, Industrial, or Automation projects.Specifically, some of the experiences and skillsets we are looking for include:* An Engineering qualification (Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Process) is a must; a qualification in Project Management would be highly beneficial* Experience with Project Organization, cost estimation and scheduling.
