Job summary

Westpac New Zealand is seeking a Programme Test Manager to provide independent programme-level assurance for Digital 2.0. You will drive an integrated, production-ready ecosystem of customer-facing and technology-facing services, ensuring end-to-end journeys meet expected outcomes.

You will champion modern Quality Engineering, embed automation and Shift Left, govern testing across delivery streams, and collaborate with Architecture, UX, and service teams.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering programme‑level QA across digital platforms.
• Strong governance and assurance capabilities.
• Ability to establish and implement testing standards and guardrails.

Responsibilities

• Provide programme‑level governance, assurance, standards, reporting and oversight.
• Champion modern Quality Engineering practices with automation and Shift Left.
• Ensure ownership of environments, test data and integrated services.
• Provide independence in risk assessment and release readiness.
• Collaborate with Architecture, UX Design and delivery teams.
