Job summary

Westpac New Zealand is seeking a Programme Test Manager to provide independent programme-level assurance that Digital 2.0 delivers an integrated, production-ready ecosystem of customer-facing and technology-facing services.

The role operates from an end-to-end customer journey and business process perspective, ensuring solutions deliver the intended outcomes, champions modern Quality Engineering, and embeds automation, continuous testing and risk-based assurance across delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Independent programme-level assurance for Digital 2.0 deliverables.
• Quality engineering practices including automation and continuous testing.
• Leadership across delivery teams with evidence-based quality stance.

Responsibilities

• Operate from an end-to-end customer journey and business process perspective.
• Provide governance, assurance, standards, reporting and oversight at programme level.
• Champion modern Quality Engineering practices and guardrails across delivery streams.
• Ensure test strategy and environments readiness for release readiness and audits.
