Job summary

Westpac New Zealand is seeking a Programme Test Manager to provide independent, programme-level assurance that Digital 2.0 delivers an integrated, production-ready ecosystem across customer and technology services.

You will drive quality engineering practices from end-to-end, champion Shift Left, automation and risk-based assurance, and collaborate with delivery teams to ensure customer journeys and business outcomes are met.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering end-to-end testing in large programmes.
• Ability to champion quality engineering practices across teams.
• Strong knowledge of automation, testing frameworks and risk-based assurance.
• Proven track record in governance and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent programme-level assurance on quality and readiness.
• Lead testing strategies and governance across delivery streams.
• Coach teams in Shift Left principles and automation adoption.
• Maintain audit-ready quality artefacts and dashboards.
