Job summary

Comspek International is seeking a Programme Manager to lead a multi-year transformation across New Zealand. You will own end-to-end delivery, align multiple workstreams with strategic objectives, and manage governance, budgets and milestones to ensure service continuity.

Ideal candidates have strong experience in large, complex environments, with a track record of stakeholder engagement, vendor management and delivering enterprise-scale programmes in regulated sectors.

Qualifications

• Extensive programme leadership experience within large and complex organisations.
• Proven delivery of enterprise-wide transformation, technology or infrastructure programmes.
• Strong governance, executive reporting and stakeholder management capability.
• Experience managing commercial vendors and delivery partners.
• Background within telecommunications, critical infrastructure, public sector or highly regulated environments advantageous.

Job description

We're partnering on a significant, multi-year transformation programme that supports mission-critical public services across New Zealand. This programme involves the migration and modernisation of complex technology platforms, integration with telecommunications providers and coordination across a broad stakeholder landscape.

As the Programme Manager, you will take ownership of end-to-end programme delivery, ensuring multiple workstreams remain aligned to strategic objectives, governance expectations, budget constraints and delivery milestones. You'll lead senior stakeholder engagement, manage complex vendor relationships, oversee programme governance and reporting, and drive successful outcomes in an environment where reliability, resilience and service continuity are paramount.

This role is ideally suited to someone who has led large-scale technology, infrastructure or transformation programmes in complex environments and is comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels.
