Job summary

RealNZ is seeking a Programme Manager to lead a multi-year capital development programme that will shape the future of an iconic New Zealand destination. Working client-side in a commercially driven and guest-focused organisation, you'll provide programme leadership across planning, design, procurement and delivery.

You'll coordinate multiple projects and workstreams—across infrastructure, buildings, operations and visitor experience—while managing consultants, contractors and key stakeholders

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading and delivering complex capital programmes or major projects.
• Ability to coordinate multiple consultants, contractors and stakeholders across competing priorities.
• Strong commercial acumen, financial and programme management capability.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to facilitate and bring together internal teams.
• Experience gained within infrastructure, vertical construction, property development, engineering, healthcare, education, industrial or other complex and multifaceted capital environments.

RobLawMax Recruitment is proud to be partnering with RealNZ to appoint a Programme Manager who will help lead one of New Zealand's most significant tourism development programmes.

This is a rare opportunity to lead a multi-year capital development programme that will shape the future of an iconic destination. Working client-side in a commercially driven and guest-focused organisation, you'll provide programme leadership across planning, design, procurement and delivery, coordinating multiple infrastructure, building, operational, commercial and visitor-experience projects.

Working closely with consultants, contractors, operational leaders and executive stakeholders, you'll ensure the programme is delivered safely, commercially and in line with RealNZ's long-term vision.

This is more than delivering individual projects. You'll provide the coordination, programme oversight and delivery approach needed to guide a multifaceted programme of work from concept through to completion.

The Role

You'll bring:

• Proven experience leading and delivering complex capital programmes or major projects.
• The ability to coordinate multiple consultants, contractors and stakeholders across competing priorities.
• Strong commercial acumen, financial and programme management capability.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to facilitate and bring together internal teams.
• Experience gained within infrastructure, vertical construction, property development, engineering, healthcare, education, industrial or other complex and multifaceted capital environments.
• The ability to bring structure and visibility across multiple concurrent projects, build stakeholder alignment and maintain delivery momentum.
