Job summary

Stratco operates a busy factory floor on the New Zealand site and is looking for a reliable machine operator/production worker to join the team in Cromwell, Otago. You will run sheet metal equipment with accuracy, contribute to meeting customer specs, and help maintain a clean, safe workspace through collaboration with colleagues.

FLT licence is a plus but not required. The role emphasizes problem solving, proactive attitudes, and a strong team approach to achieve quality outcomes in a

• Previous experience as a machine operator/production worker.
• Experience with sheet metal equipment (roll formers, folders, and press brakes) is advantageous but not essential.
• FLT licence preferred, but not essential.
• Reliable team player with a proactive, can-do mindset.
• Practical problem solver who can think on their feet.

Responsibilities

• Operate metal folding, roll forming, and pressing machinery with precision and care.
• Manufacture products to meet customer specifications and quality standards.
• Assist with general housekeeping to maintain a clean, organised, and safe workspace.
• Collaborate across teams and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
• Participate in toolbox talks and team meetings.
• Champion workplace safety by following critical safety procedures and helping maintain a safe working environment for everyone.
