Job summary

Contour Roofing is expanding its Nelson operations and seeks a motivated Machine Operator or Production Worker. You will work on the factory floor, operating metal folding, roll forming and pressing machinery to exacting standards, and contribute to a safe, efficient production process.

You will be part of a close-knit team, supporting general housekeeping, toolbox talks, and safety procedures, with opportunities to grow as you demonstrate reliability and a proactive mindset.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a machine operator/production worker.
• Reliable team player with proactive, can-do mindset.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality output and accuracy.
• FLT licence preferred, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate metal folding, roll forming, and pressing machinery.
• Manufacture products to meet customer specifications and quality standards.
• Assist with general housekeeping to maintain a clean, organised, and safe workspace.
• Participate in toolbox talks and team meetings.
• Champion workplace safety by following critical safety procedures and helping maintain a safe working environment for everyone.
