Placements24 is seeking a Production Team Leader for our Queenstown, Eastern Cape site. The role focuses on supervising a production team, ensuring safety compliance, meeting targets, and maintaining high-quality output.

You will guide and motivate operators, monitor performance, and uphold all safety and quality standards while fostering a positive, collaborative work environment. On-site required with opportunities for overtime and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory role within manufacturing or production.
• Understanding of production processes and quality control principles.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures in a factory setting.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and foster a positive team spirit.
• Must be reliable and punctual.
• Willingness to work on-site at the Queenstown, Eastern Cape plant.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the daily activities of a production team to meet targets safely.
• Monitor production processes for quality and adherence to procedures.
• Provide guidance, training, and motivation to production operators.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental regulations are followed.
• Inspect equipment and report issues to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot production problems and implement solutions.
