Job summary

Pact Packaging – Steel Division at Avondale site in Auckland is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead the manufacturing team and drive operational excellence. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will ensure production targets are met while maintaining a safe and engaging workplace culture.

You'll coach frontline teams, coordinate daily production, and promote health and safety, quality systems and continuous improvement across the site.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience within manufacturing, production, FMCG or operational environments.
• Proven ability to coach, develop and motivate teams to high performance.
• Experience using SAP or a similar ERP system.
• Strong communication and stakeholder relationship-building skills.
• Solid understanding of health & safety, quality systems and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making in fast-paced operations.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Mechanical aptitude and hands-on approach to operations.
• Passion for continuous improvement and positive change.

• Working Hours: Monday - Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm - 40 hours per week
• No Overtime and Oncall requirements
