Job summary

Fisher Paykel Healthcare in Auckland, NZ is seeking a Planner on a six-month contract to develop and manage the production and inventory plan for an assigned product family. You will balance customer demand, capacity, materials and inventory to ensure reliable delivery and sound business outcomes.

You will maintain a practical plan and respond quickly when demand, supply or capacity changes, working with sales, production and international teams to validate forecasts and keep stakeholders

Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain or equivalent planning experience in manufacturing.
• Experience supporting or running a sales and operations planning process.
• Strong analytical skills with forecasts, inventory, production and capacity data.
• Ability to balance short-term priorities with longer-term business needs.
• Clear communication, relationship-building, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Proactive with ownership and focus on practical results.
• Experience in a large or global organisation is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop, present and implement the sales and operations plan for the assigned product families.
• Create and maintain the master production schedule, translating the plan into achievable production requirements.
• Monitor sales, inventory, materials, capacity and constraints, adjusting plans as needed.
• Maintain planning system settings and parameters with current information.
• Collaborate with Sales, Production and international teams to validate forecasts and keep stakeholders informed.
• Provide planning, inventory and capacity analysis to support decisions on product introductions or phase-outs.
• Identify improvements to planning reports, processes and ways of working.
